Making a difference, Making friends

Events

FofKW events and activities take place throughout the year, every month of the year. Plans are influenced by the interests and enthusiasms of members, and the availability of volunteers. Typical activities include recording wildlife, habitat management, field trips, and social events. We also work with the CORMAC Ranger, carrying out repairs and woodland maintenance.

We hold a monthly get-together and walk on the second Sunday of the month at 10.30am. This usually takes place in the Woods but we sometimes venture further afield, and will often have a theme such as bluebells, butterflies, or a litter pick.

Events are free, but donations from non-members are appreciated. Some events may be restricted to members only.

As the majority of events are held outdoors dates are confirmed or even notified at short notice as and when weather conditions appear favourable. Members receive information and updates by email. Check our Facebook page for the latest information. Join us!
